The symbol of Asakusa and a visitor magnet
Senso-ji Temple
This temple is Asakusa’s main attraction, bringing in more than 30 million visitors every year. The Hozo-mon Gate, Five-Storied Pagoda, and Main Hall are illuminated at night, creating an even more majestic atmosphere. The Kaminari-mon Gate, with its giant red lantern and statues of Fujin (the god of wind) and Raijin (the god of thunder), is also a must-see!
