The Akabane district is said to be a mecca for drinkers. OK Yokocho is a bar area located off Akabane Ichibangai, a shopping street in front of the station. This narrow alleyway is home to nearly 30 old and new establishments, including izakaya, “snack bars,” and wine bars.
